Artifact Name: Service Learning Project

Date: October 2015

Course: EDUC230 Exceptional Learners

Description: For this assignment, I was required to visit with and observe a resource teacher. I observed for ten hours with a total of five different visits and wrote a paper on my experiences.

Rationale: To demonstrate my understanding of Standard #2: Learning Differences, I have included my Service Learning Project for the Exceptional Learners course. During my observations, I was able to witness the teacher working with a number of different exceptional learners with a wide variety of different exceptionalities. In the assignment, I documented  quite a few different scenarios that took place and how they would and could be handled based on the individual differences of the student.
