Hello! My name is Katie Keegan. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am currently an Elementary Education major at Ivy Tech and will graduate with my associates degree in December. I plan on attending IUPUI beginning in January where I will finish out my bachelors.

I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. After working a few years at Carmel Elementary School as an Instructional Assistant in kindergarten, I decided it was time to finish my degree.

I have an almost 2 year old daughter who is my reason for finishing school. I want to show her you can do anything you set your mind to.

I have always been somewhat creative and the idea of being an elementary art teacher has been my goal for some time now, although I know I would be happy in any elementary classroom.
